Features

Six things Pace does well.

Every feature below exists because someone asked for it twice. Nothing is behind a paywall except sharing and sync.

See what matters, skip the rest

One screen for today

Today shows the three habits that need you now, your focus sessions and nothing else. No streak shaming, no red badges.

Most habit apps open on a wall of checkboxes. Pace opens on today: the habits you scheduled, the focus blocks you planned, and a quiet note about how the week is going.

  • Habits are grouped by time of day, so the morning ones disappear once the morning is over.

  • Missed a day? The card simply moves on. There is no streak counter to protect.

  • Pull down to see tomorrow, swipe left to see yesterday.

25 minutes or 90, your call

Focus sessions that fit your day

Start a session from any habit, pick a length, and Pace silences the right notifications on iOS and Android.

A focus session is a promise to yourself for a set time. Pace keeps it simple:

  • Choose 15, 25, 50 or 90 minutes, or set your own length.

  • Pace turns on Focus mode on iPhone and Do Not Disturb on Android, and turns them off when you are done.

  • Sessions are linked to habits, so "Write 500 words" becomes a 50-minute block you can see in your stats.

Nudges, not nagging

Reminders that know when to stop

Pace reminds you once, at the time you chose, and goes quiet if you dismiss it. Snooze until tomorrow with one tap.

Notification fatigue is why most people delete habit apps. Pace sends one reminder per habit and learns from what you do with it.

  • Dismiss twice in a row and Pace asks whether to move the habit to another time.

  • Quiet hours are respected on both platforms, including weekends.

  • Reminders can be grouped into a single morning summary.

Trends, not totals

Stats you can read in ten seconds

A weekly view shows what you did, what slipped and one suggestion for next week. Export everything as CSV any time.

Pace shows seven days at a time, because that is how most of us plan.

  • Completion by habit and by time of day.

  • Focus minutes with a comparison to the previous week.

  • One suggestion, written in plain words: "Evening habits slipped. Try moving Stretch to 7 am."

Up to five people

Habits you keep together

Share a habit with a partner, a friend or your team. Everyone sees the same card and gets a quiet note when someone checks in.

Shared habits work like a group chat with one message type: "done". No leaderboards, no public streaks.

  • Invite by link; people join with their own account.

  • Each person keeps their own schedule and reminders.

  • Available on Plus and Family plans.

Your data stays yours

Private by default, synced everywhere

End-to-end encrypted sync between your phone, tablet and the web app. Export or delete everything with one tap.

Pace stores habits and sessions encrypted on your device and syncs them through our servers without being able to read them.

  • Sign in with Apple, Google or email.

  • Export to CSV or JSON from Settings.

  • Delete your account and all data in one step, no email to support needed.

Try it with three habits. Free, forever.
